Our Purpose
The KL Hockey Team is a registered non-profit, led by volunteers and a board of directors focused on enriching a players' hockey experience while giving back to the community through sport.
Since 2017, the KL Team has provided:
-
Camp Sponsorship: Over 25 well deserving players have attended camp for free, who otherwise may not have been able to, through the re-allocation of fees and generous sponsorships from local businesses
-
Local Team Support: Over $37,000 in donations to minor hockey and kids clubs
-
Community Giving: Food donations totalling over 65,000 lbs

Being a part of the KL Hockey team, as a camper, parent, staff or volunteer, provides a memorable experience that extends beyond camp; it directly funds the dreams and abilities of those within Kawartha Lakes. This allows us to give back to the area that gives so much to campers from across North America.
